The Combined Sewer Overflow Assessment Workshop will focus on how the ongoing digitization impacts the assessment of combined sewer overflows.

This 3-hour workshop will focus on the behaviour of TSS in sewer. The workshop will be held 27.08 in the afternoon. All physical processes will be addressed (transport, settling, resuspension, consolidation, flocculation, …), thus excluding bio-chemical processes (e.g. biofilms, in-sediment reactions, …). Out of scope as well are catchment run-off aspects, and special structures such as retention tanks, overflow treatment equipment,
